“Silhouette\” A silhouette (English: /ˌsɪluˈɛt/ SIL-oo-ET,[1] French: [silwɛt]) is the image of a person, animal, object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, with its edges matching the outline of the subject.
“Iridescent”: a lustrous rainbowlike play of color caused by differential refraction of light waves (as from an oil slick, soap bubble, or fish scales) that tends to change as the angle of view changes
And here it is, Craig’s Newest Work!!!!! This dynamic new series titled “SILHOUETTE” is a true collector\’s fantasy. Craig brings us 14 powerful brand new images (7 this week and 7 next week) that are only available in an extremely limited yet flexible three size option, one of one canvas print series. Each new title is only available in a 24”, 36” and 48” option with Only One canvas being available in each size. That’s right. Just one in each size. Craig really wanted to offer exclusivity but he also wanted a bit of size and price flexibility available to help accommodate the diversity of his fans and collectors. So, to recap, that’s 14 new images, 3 total canvas prints per image at 3 very different sizes and prices with only one canvas available in each size. Prices are solid with this series starting at just $1,500.00 for the 24” option.

A few words about the work by the artist; With “Silhouette\” I wanted to focus intensely on the beautiful interworking of shape and color. I wanted to bring the viewer something special that offers comfort from the conventional, balanced artfully with the extraordinary and inspired. The French Quarter is my home and my muse. It has been appreciated, captured, and artistically interpreted for nearly 300 years and it will forever be loved and cherished for its many unique qualities. I wanted to contribute to this lineage with a creative, contemporary, and progressive vision that offers the fundamentals of my work through the principles of Contrast and Harmony as well as Beauty and Mystery. My love of color playfully finds its way into these “silhouettes” through the subtle yet vibrant iridescent stokes that are delicately layered over the otherwise jet black of night.
